Brief introduction of Fu Gui Hong

China is well-known for her china. She has porcelain of colorful & creative designs & shapes. But for more than 1,000 years, nobody developed high-fired red glaze porcelain. That is because of its lack of highly baking skills. The proverb "One Treasure in 1000 Kilns" shows how difficult to produce it.

Then Xu Shaodong, a young Dehua artist, finally solved this problem after years of hardships. Employing Tantalum as raw material, the porcelain can only be made at a high temperature of 1310 degrees. Xu seeks for superior quality and uniform pricing. To prevent shoddy counterfeit, Xu is installing VI system to assign a unique code to each piece. The buyer can check by telephone. In a very short period, Fu Gui Hong products have become highly collectable.

The Fu Gui Hong has become a trademark in February 2006. Each piece of Fu Gui Hong product is stamped with the trademark "Fu Gui Hong", "Xu Shaodong" the author and "Dehua". Fu Gui Hong has become the spotlights of dozens of influential mass media, including CCTV, Fujian Daily, Xinhua Net and Xiamen Business since its birth. E.g., Fu Gui Hong's works appeared on the program "Treasure Appraisal" on CCTV-2 on Aug 25th, 2006. As well, many calligraphers wrote him words of encouragement. Highly praised by Li Tieying, Vice Chairman of National People's Congress, Fu Gui Hong has entered the list of Gifts for National Guests. They are given to leaders from dozens of countries, such as the USA, Japan, Singapore and Russia etc.
